READ ALL ABOUT IT! AT P&W
FANS PLEASE KEEP OFF THE PITCH. Everyone thought it was a tremendous achievement from the branch and gesture from John and Kev that they turned up. !t was also a fantastic reward for the members who turn up month after month in all weather. Also at the meeting were coach Derek Fazackerley, ex-players Andy Hincliffe and Nicky Reid, Dave from KK and our very own James H. What a fantastic night.
SPECIAL K
Kevin holds our branch in general and City fans in particular in such a high regard that is why he is prepared to meet with fans and attend branch meetings and sportsmen's dinners. He is a smashing manager and a brilliant person and it was a pleasure to meet him again. Cheers Kev - you're a star.
WALKING IN A KEEGAN WONDERLAND As the clock ticked towards 8 o'clock on the Tuesday of the last meeting, people were still speculating about who John Wardle would bring with him. Well you could have knocked us all over with a feather duster when in walked KEVIN KEEGAN. I thought f**k me, this ain't real but yep it was!! John had pulled the rabbit out of the hat by bringing King Kev. What made it all the more special, with it not being announced that he was attending the meeting, was the room wasn't full of hanger on's but of regular members and people who wanted to listen to what acting Chairman John Wardle had to say. Don opened the meeting by reading out a statement from the board of directors and then it was full steam ahead for a brilliant meeting. The Social Club was already packed to the rafters but you could hear a pin drop when the guests were speaking. John had a clear message that he put over to the members. Neither he nor the board wanted Chris or David to go but go they did and there is no point pondering on the whys and why nots but the message was clear .. there is no point in looking back but it's onwards and upwards we hope. He also made it clear that neither he nor David Makin or Kevin for that matter were going to take City on a course of spend, spend, spend and ending up not like Leeds but Sheffield Wednesday, Derby, etc. John, David and Kev are no mugs and are in for the long haul. Kevin was brilliant with the fans and went round the room making sure all the kids had a City goodie bag which Sara and Becky from Maine Road brought. There are gong to be some major celebrations after the last game of the season but only if

MUEN IN THE GUTTER AGAIN
After Liverpool wiped the floor with U*d in the Worthington Cup Final, the MUEN correspondent, instead of praising the scousers or saying U*t were crap, maintained Liverpool were boring and dull and that boring teams winning trophies were a bad thing for football. No wonder people detest the Stretford Rangers. Why can't they for once be gracious in defeat?? We played 'em off the park twice and were a whisker from taking all six points off them. Could they accept that?? No could they ****. They blamed everything from the kick off time to the weather and grass being too short. Even Mon U fans thought Stuart Brennan's ramblings were pathetic. Do us a favour, put a sock in it or **** off back to London.
